So glad I found this forum... A lot of gold nuggets sprinkled across it, and there is no other place where you can get them.

I'm running a quantitative trading company and I got curious about poker botting recently. I have some interesting ideas about making it work - like everyone in this business, I guess. Long story short, I am looking for a senior member of this forum to act as a consultant or "mentor", who would be willing to coach me, answer my newbie questions, give me feedback on my ideas and help me understand how this business works. I'm more interested in an RTA type of operation than a bot but I'm open to any ideas. I'd like to talk to someone who has been consistently making money with this type of business for the last 5-10 years, and obviously I'm not expecting anything for free either.

I'm happy to answer questions but I'm no expert. After browsing this forum, I think it is a good assumption that you pretty much need an undergrad in computer science or math and quite possibly some post grad education in one of those areas as well. Experience with programming, data structures and automation seems essential. Do you know your way around computers?
