All I know is that it's from a website that people call VH for short from their stealth page.

As I understand it, this is the program that most botters use that are using a VM or 2 computer to stream the desktop of 1 computer to the VM.

Bring was originally something to do with WinHoldem. That seems to be defunct now, but there is an opensource equivalent called openholdem

Ahh, I thought it was a third party program that OH uses.. not built into OH.
So what program would you suggest to use instead of bring if I all I want is to stream the desktop window with all overlapping windows from one computer to the other one?
I don't want screen scraping inlcluded, I will write my own scraper by using OpenCV.

- google winholdem bring and you gets lots of hits - no idea if they are what they say they are.
- Suggest you ask OpenHoldem crew how they do it.
- There are lots of remote access tools around but they are all detectable.
- Bring is surely detectable too

Thanks for the help :)
The most popular guide over at OH says bring is not detectable.. all a pokersite can do it see it in the running processes but that is easily avoided by just renaming bring to something else.. they don't know what the program does, they only scan for the name "bring".

edit: Wasn't able to find any download by searching for winholdem bring..

Also, I know there are a lot of screen sharing programs to use but I just wondering which one most botters prefer to use.. maybe there are advantages and disadvantages with them.. and if they are all detectable then how do you do this? I never see anyone writing about this even though it's the first step in creating a bot.

Maybe it doesn't even matter if they are detectable? It's completely normal to have team viewer running when playing poker.
So I think I will use teamviewer, it's the best screen sharing program I know of at least.

I'm no expert on this stuff but I doubt this is true. If it is true, it's only because the casino is slack

I doubt it would be hard to compare all running processes with a list of banned programs
Casino installed hooks on graphics APIs would show something is screen scraping
Casino installed hooks on network APIs would show something is networking immediately after the scrape
Analysis of BringRenamed.exe would show it scrapes the screen and makes network calls.

Hmm, what do you think about using teamviewer then?
I will do all the scraping on the VM that teamviewer is sharing the screen to.

Or is it simply impossible to do this undetected so there's no way to not become flagged suspicous?
Only thing I can think of is what I read another member here was going to do (nefton) which is to use a camera to stream the screen to his other computer.

- If you put the casino in a VM it's a bit suspicious but they don't have solid evidence as far as I can tell.
- http://www.epiphan.com/products/other-a ... s/kvm2usb/
- https://www.keelog.com/vga-hdmi-dvi-capture/ ?
- There are some other ways of dealing with the problem, but I would be betraying the trust of the people that told me about them if I revealed them. In any case they are not easy.

Like I said I'm not an expert. I guess the smaller sites don't really care about botters, but *s definitely does

Thanks, great links!

I suppose having teamviewer and a VM running same time would be super suspisous and even more when you have incoming traffic from the VM.. Could imagine that alone gets you caught.
And it seems bring is one of the most easily detectable screen share programs since it's so popular for botters and it's what pokersites are searching for.
Do you know if that bring download is safe to use btw? That website doesn't seem very trustable.

I wonder if you only use teamviewer though without a VM, just 2 computer, you wouldn't need any incoming traffic either if you remote control through teamviewer I think?
Pokerstars did ask one guy in the last link you gave about who he is being remote controlled by through teamviewer so maybe TV isn't a good option after all.. but maybe it's ok for all the other sites?

The alternative methods of sharing screen that you linked was very interesting though but needs an investment just to start programming the bot then.

I would almost prefer just taking the easy route of using OH but if they are using bring and VM then i don't feel safe using OH plus you can't query the HM2/PT4 database from OH so the bots made with OH can't be too powerful I imagine.. this is why I would like to make my own bot.

I really just can't wait to get started on writing the AI, I think that is where my strength is at because I'm already beating everything up to 200nl and I think I could make a bot play even better than myself but I am going to need powerful bot tthat can query HM2 database and I will need some complex calculations like flopzilla does to see whos range is stronger on certain board textures.. make my bot be able to label flops and boards as wet or dry etc and to see villains range hits the board, if he for example never flats with anything less than broadway cards from OOP then he will be pretty weak on a 865 flop.
I am also decent at c++ but that doesn't mean much since you can't really program anything with just c++ since you need different type of API's, engines, libs etc for different project and that makes everything so much harder.

edit: I think the KVM2USB looks the best solution but quite expenisve.. But with that you don't even need any incoming traffic since you can emulate keyboard from the remote computer that it's connected to undetectably. So it would be 100% stealth as long as you can emulate your bot to act like a human.
Videoghost is much cheaper and also undetectable but you will need incoming traffic with that solution.

Using any type of VMWare, VirtualPC, TeamViewer etc will arouse attention immediately and you will get an email asking why these programs are active on PS, FTP and 888.

It might actually be pretty easy to create a pokerstars bot thanks to this wonderful program called table ninja 2.
Doing OCR should be easy since TN2 automaticaly resizes tables at absolute postions on screen etc so you don't need to scan the whole image, just need to check an absolute position.. dont need to use the mouse at all for anything else than pressing the join table button but you could do that manually and then turn on the bot afterwards and leave the mouse cursor over the join table button for zoom and if the bot needs to close a zoom table because being too deep stacked then it just needs to press the mouse button, dont need to move the mouse.
Thats for the most part it except making checks for disconnections and captcha.
And for captcha I read a smart thing someone else did which was to have the bot send him a message so he manually types it in.. i wonder if it's possible to have the bot send a message to the smartphone if you are not home.

So yeah, after all this, all you gotta do is create the bot AI so it plays poker for you.
