Hi,
I'm currently building a script to translate my Hand Histories comming from an offline Simulation Software into the PokerStars HH format. I'm almost finished, but I still have to figure out the right syntax for the poker situations where someone collects the pot after a showdown pre-flop or on the streets, as opposed where someone wins without showdown.
I don't play on PS yet to have HHs at my disposal, also the WIKI model for a PS hand doesn't cover everything, so thanks very much to confirm the following:

The Pokerstars format without a showdown is:
"NameX collected 50 from pot"

In a showdown, I've figured out that the syntax *could be*:

*** SHOW DOWN ***
NameX: shows [9s 9h] (blabla blabla)
NameX collected 5000 from pot

Is the last line correct or must it be different? Thanks very much to feedback !!

I haven't done a parser myself but I have in my bookmarks this github project and also fpdb that have code you might want to look at.

Hello Jerrys,
your SampleHand section of PS is a treasure of knowledge for me and will surely help me for other situations as well.
Thanks very much for this insight! :ugeek:

Hi guys, thank you very much! These two links from the guy on top helped me a lot
I'm doing the same thing right now and generally love poker and other similar games, so I found this topic. I usually play on situs judi bola resmi and it reminded me of this site in some way. I still have some difficulties that I can't solve yet , but there were many more until I found the links in this thread.
The SampleHand section of PS you have is really very cool as the guy above said, I agree with him completely. Tell us a little bit about this project, as I would be very interested to learn more about it.Thank you in advance!!!
