Hi there! We are botting at 888 for some time, but we get banned periodically. Stealth setup we are using: - different computer for each account (including OS license) - different IP for each account - protected folder for bot software (bot user). Another user which runs poker client (poker user). Poker user can't access that protected folder and see it's content. Also we have utility which can launch processes as different user. So, poker user uses this utility to launch bot as bot user, meanwhile when bot needs to open poker client he also uses this utility to launch poker client as poker user, so poker software could not read protected folder - advanced human like mouse movement - flexible automatically randomly generated play schedule for each account - we use screen scrapping for retrieving all information - our accounts are banned simultaneously including our newly created ones, so we suppose the reason is not our play style (statistics) Do you have any ideas, botters? Any usefull info is highly appreciated! BTW: - do 888 use any client tests, like capchas or chat-questions? - is there any benefits of using VM's with our setup? In case you want to contact us privately, don’t hesitate to send PM or write at [email protected] Thank you! |

Well you would know if they are doing any capchas if your playing for any length of time. If all your bots are sitting out all the time then you know you got hit with a captcha. One way to see what the client is doing is to run a program like ProcessGuard. This will alert you if the client is scanning the process list which is typical for any type of bot detection. Then you will know they are doing client tests. PS and PP both do this quite often but I have no idea on 888. |

- Synthetic mouse clicks. - Strategy similarity. - Underlying IPs are visible (if you're using a VPN) or the VPN is a flag itself. - Your mouse movement/clicks aren't unique enough, or human enough. - Library hooking (they can see what's calling the screen capture). - Kernel hooking (they can see everything, i.e. direct disk access). - Other checks/looks regarding unrestricted access to the OS. - Heuristic bot detection (client resizing, captchas, etc.) Edit: these are just general things casinos can do, not specific to 888. |

Hi Automateit, I'm plan to start botting on 888, and you said that you get all the information using screen scraping. That's also what I'm trying to do. May I ask you how do you get *all* information? For example, how do you get the SB/BB? Looking at the bets? And about the gameid? How do you detect a new game? Is there a way to get more information on the chat box (like current gameid?) Regarding stealth configuration, I'll be running the poker client in a VM, without any bot/development related software in it, doing all my scraping and interaction with the game from the host machine. This is a lot slower (1 screenshot/600ms), so I'll have to optimize it a lot with info caching and change detection. Also I'll share the HH folder to read it from the host machine. Or will use PT3 on the guest machine and put Postgres DB in the host, so I can get hand history and stats directly from DB. Thanks, Corintio |

The OP is the classic 2-post-guy-with-winning-AI-that-makes-billions that wants to know everything on stealth. He posted the same posts on open holdem forum, so you can read there also how to stealth... Or how to avoid this posts. |

It's a shame.... Well, anyone botting on 888? If not, why? Isn't it worth? |

A lot of peoples bots on 888, and if it's worth or not, it depends on your AI. 888 is one of the easiest sites to bot at, but you need a bit of stealth. |

I am thinking of giving it a try on 888, with a really simple setup using OH (in a protected folder) and playing around for testing the setup on play money. Anything that I should pay attention to? Can anybody share a tablemap for 888 with me? Just PM me if you don't want to publish here.... |
