Hi, I am a new member of this forum and I can't find where to ask questions so I decided to write it here. I've decided to write a poker bot, I am writing in Java, also know c++ and c (but remembering it takes a lot of time) now I can only write an algorithm and I don't know a lot of stuff like how to read the current situation,how to make moves, what different kind of problems may I encounter, can I find free source (template) of reading boards. Can I buy it somewhere? do i have to write OCR for every poker software and so on. if someone has time to help me please.. thanks in advance. |

You can try starting with OpenHoldemBot, but you'll be limited to Windows platform.... Also Google is your friend  I found a lot of interesting and useful things related to Poker Botting just googling around.And last but not least, read *ALL* posts from Online Botting forums on this site, and also from the archives -Corintio |

Just write your own scraper using the AutoIt DLL which is pretty easy to do. For OCR you could use the Tesseract stuff which works well too. Both are free. |
