Post subject:  Is VM + new ip enough to create additional accounts?
Hey, i was wondering if i connected through dynamic mobile internet + virtualbox would be enough to avoid a poker rooms multi-account security. I'm talking about pokerstars here, i believe that my main account might get banned soon. I read that pokerstars uses hwid detections, is VM enough to generate a new hwid + using another IP through a new sim card?

Okay, i can see that there are 12 views and no replies, let me rephrase the question. Is creating an account or playing on virtual machine much worse option than buying another computer, disregard the fact that poker room can see that it is ran on vm. As much research that i've done, i came to conclusion that there is no need to change any hwid components if you're running on vm, everything is different in comparison to host, is that true?

I think your approach (VM+3G) is a good idea.

With a VM you are going to get new hwids, and PS will see this hwids, but they will see that you are running the client in a VM. Although this is not enough to ban you.
I think that you don't need a new computer if you can use VMs.
If you are worry about the fact that PS can get your real hwids, even using VMs, you can use online VMs and install the PS client there, but you have to pay for the service.

Is it possible for them to know whether host is win, mac or linux?

I don't think so. If you are executing the client in a VM they can't know the host's information but they know that you are executing it in a VM and the OS that this VM has.

Maybe they can know what VM version you are using, and it could be a version to run in linux.

Why is it important for you that they can know the host's OS?
