What are the best practices to keep in mind when evaluating a new bot?

Can you recommend the best software to identify leaks, spots, and overall performance of a new bot you have created?
Obviously familiar with PokerTracker, but looking for the optimal way to put a bot to the real test and see some 'live' results compared to other bots or statistics.

I appreciate any help and welcoming any tips or know-how!

Maybe someone had an implementation of bot simulation against GTO+ or other real time / solvers?
