There are lots of questions from newbies like this so rather than repeat myself endlessly I'll just put a summary here.

- This is not an easy task and there are no easy answers.

- There is a good overview of the various academic approaches at http://poker-ai.org/archive/pokerai.org ... 43&p=37506

- Browse our massive bibliographies at viewforum.php?f=25 and http://poker-ai.org/archive/www.pokerai ... .html?f=64

- If you can play poker well yourself you might be tempted to build a bunch of rules around the cards you see and your opponents betting frequencies.

I have not found a more appropriate place for this question: There was one thread in (presumingly) the old forum from Amex, where an implementation of CFRM + Best Response had been posted. Does anybody have the link at hand?
