Hey, i was wondering whether just using a virtual machine + new ip is enough to have a new hwid (and other machine id's) or should a person spoof/change some of the id's inside the virtual environment. Basically i am asking if a new virtual machine will change all of the IDs that might identify a botter/multi-accounter?

From what I have witnessed, some people say that they make some changes inside VM, some say that just using VM is enough. I personally, have not yet tested it yet, but I am also interested in this topic. I have looked for info outside this forum regarding ids and VMs and it seems that just using a new VM machine is enough, however I would really appreciate a reply from someone with more knowledge/experience.

Thanks for the reply, I have also found some posts on wow botting forums that just using VM is enough, however a confirmation from a member here would be really appreciated.

1. Talk to your internet provider about changing IP. Some provider giving random IP every time you connect (mostly mobile internet)
2. Use VPN service, or own vps server with VPN software.
3. Socks services. Like with VPN, but it's harder to wrap all traffic from virtual machine.

I also have dynamic ip and it always shows same two dns addresses through ipconfig in VM. I think this might be an issue. What do you guys think? How can i change those?

If you are worry about using your Internet Service Provider DNS servers then configure your internet connection to use always Google DNS (8.8.8.8).
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google_Public_DNS

Is is public and it doesn't depend on you internet provider.
