Hi,

I am new to the Forum and really interested in the topic botting. My aim is to build a pokerstars poker bot from scratch.
To do this I want to go step by step...
The first intermediate target is to build the game state engine. My game state engin should interprete screenshots from the Pokerstars Software. To test my game state engine i wrote a Little Programm which takes every half second a screenshot from the opened tables.

My question now is if i get a Problem with Pokerstars when I run a program which takes These screenshots while I am playing?

I doubt stars care if you are recording play. But my advice is to stay away from stars to begin with as they are the strongest anti bot site there is.

Yes, but not recently. When I last looked there was nothing in their T&Cs about recording play. And I remember people using Camtasia or similar tools and then using that as proof that they weren't bots.

Stars will allow you to record play, there are so many coaching sessions recorded. But they have different methods for detecting bots and they are quite good at it.
