After the last update of the Client of PokerStars is no more possible to read the Hole Cards in the PokerStars.Log.0 file.

Now are written at the end of the hand.

Begin of the hand:
UpdateMyCard 0: c13 [608CA]
UpdateMyCard 1: c14 [608CA]

End of the hand:
PrivateCard c13 is 5c [608CA]
PrivateCard c14 is 6d [608CA].................... too late!!

Some idea about an alternative way to read again hole cards at the BEGIN of the hand (no OCR)??

Evidently this is not the right forum where to post this question.

Some idea about where to post, hoping for an answer?

Ty.

Hi,

I'm quite interested myself on the answer to that question. Please, let me know if you find anything :)

OCR for cards is really very easy, you can have a fixed table size, either you use something like placemint to layout your tables or you just do it yourself with some winapi functions.
Then you just cut out the card images at a predefined location, save the images and save which card they represent. You can then screenshot the same location while playing and just check if they match 100% with any of your training images. No neural networks or anything like that required.

OCR for cards is really very easy ... until they move the cards around and change them slightly
