Yesterday I decided to write a short stack PLO bot for micro stakes. It is pretty basic right now but it works. Is anybody else working on PLO?

Since there are so many hand combos that I decided it was better to have it based on equity to determine whether the hand is playable preflop. It seems to be playing rather loose right now so this will definitely need some serious adjustment as I believe it is a big leak to see the flop more then 30% of the time in 6max.

Anyway..I would like to hear if anybody else is working on PLO. I needed a break from NL and I keep hearing how juicy micro stakes PLO is because hand selection is not easy to figure out.

After another day of work preflop is getting much better. Since equities in PLO run much closer together then in NLHE I found that it was playing too many marginal hands in the 37-49% equity range (an example is Ks7s6h5h). I had to write a separate routine to weed them out and now its playing much better with most of its draws being to the nuts.
