Reading Hand2Note database

Anyone here ever tried to access a H2N database? I know that it's a PostgreSQL database and I am able to open it in pgadmin, but the layout confuses me.
It seems that almost no real information is stored in the DB, except for the raw hand histories.
There is also some binary data and I don't know how to interpret that.
Does anyone have any tips?
