I'm selling a product which gives realtime informations about running and upcoming spin games.

Upcoming, yes. You can know a spin tables ID before players are seated in it.

So I see at least 2 ways to use it: hh datamining or table selection.
Or you just can use it for statistics as it tracks all spin games (buyin, type, region)

Opening these tables/lobbies are not implemented and I am not saying it is possible or not.

Tuning up this product requires good knowledge in reverse engineering.

Also by checking the logs I think there are more information to retrieve.

This is how the simple GUI looks like: https://gyazo.com/2359e4d20f74d5efa8ec6ddd41e2ae9e

It's just a gui. The important things are in another .exe which this GUI uses. This .exe can connect to pokerstars server without the client actually running.

Does anyone know where I can find a definition/description for and explanation of the PHH and DHH file format standards (for poker hand histories?)

I'm trying to write my own poker database/analysis tool (I know there is already software out there that can parse PHH and DHH files for me, but this is more of an educational project for me, so I'm trying to do it myself).

The poker site I play on uses PHH and DHH files (and as far as I can tell, other sites do as well), so I have to be able to parse those files. Since multiple sites and softwares use them, I assume they are a public standard and not proprietary (please correct me if I'm wrong!)

Thanks!

Looked around quite some myself, didn't find anything. Just learn it by analyzing bunch of hh files, it's not THAT complicated.

There are cases where the hands are not ok, e.g. money vanishes at the table.
The easy case are dead blinds: if you win your own dead blind that money is lost at the table.
The other case are hands like gameId 8460516 (hand.toString()):
Code:
PokerAI_HHDb Game #8460516: Hold'em No Limit ($0.10/$0.25) - Tue May 26 07:20:06 CEST 2009

*** TURN *** [8h 7h 3h] [9c]

PId677411: calls $6.2
*** RIVER *** [8h 7h 3h 9c] [5d]
*** SUMMARY ***
Total pot $XXX | Rake $XXX
Seat 0: PId677411 hand balance is ($-8.7)
Seat 1: PId489758 hand balance is ($-8.7)
Seat 2: PId847323 hand balance is ($0)
Seat 3: PId281057 hand balance is ($0)
Seat 4: PId281907 hand balance is ($-0.25)
Seat 5: PId283473 hand balance is ($0)

As you see, $17.65 just vanish. If you look at the hands data, you see that we know the hole cards of the two players, so you can find out who won.

For me both these cases are no problem atm, because I transfer the hands into my own bot framework, so I just evaluate the winnings there.

bit torrent? Amazon S3?

Glacier probably isn't a good choice, as access is very slow and costs a lot of money-- glacier is really meant for long-term backups you'll only need occasional access to.

Samples for converting the hand histories into different formats are in the codebase.
One of them is for PS format I believe and the other is for ACPC format.

I found the PS format in PokerHandPrinter:

I'm not sure where the ACPC one is. I know I wrote it at some point and you can see the converted files in here:

It should be fairly easy to adapt to your needs though.

Originally, this data was gathered (and partially paid for from hand history providers) by the old HHEX (hand history exchange) on pokerai.org. It was a private forum and group that dedicated a lot of time and some money to gathering these hands. indiana (with the help of others I think) then came up with a new method of storing these hands more efficiently and built most of the codebase to convert hands from the site's format to his format plus basic analysis tools to parse the hands and work with the data.

The hands in the database are obfuscated and all player data was anonymized. The original hands were lost, or at least are not in mine and anybody else's possession as far as I know.

Code
I have pushed all of indy's code plus all of the code that I have built on top of it to github. This includes a small subset of the database to test your code against before running it against the entire database. The entire repository is published under GPL v3 as intended by indiana (see links below).

Feel free to checkout the code, fork the repository and/or contribute to it directly by building your own analysis tools:

- Nobody can login because the archive is just static html.
- You can't read restricted threads because they are not there.
