I believe that it would be smart not to have any direct connections between your main poker account and the one with a bot running on. As much as i understand, poker sites track your hardware id, ip and account information.
1) Does anyone know for sure how hwid on pokerstars is generated (MAC, cpu, motherboard, combination of those)?
2) Does running a poker client in a virtual environment grant you a different hardware id?
3) I have found some posts stating that pokerstars can find whether your are running the client in a virtual environment, i assume this is true and the "safer" way would be to get a different physical computer, tablet or android phone for each bot?
4) Same concepts apply to android mobile phones? Do they also have hwids?
5) VPS is a no go for bot accounts?
Second area of my interest are creating account for bots. It is stated in TOS that there is no fraud on this forum, so i would like to talk regarding this subject from security, pen tenetration point of view. ;)
6) So a botter needs a "fake" account on pokersite and possibly a "fake" account on payment processor if he does not want to chipdump the $ to a legit one?
7) Does anyone know what are the standard procedures of id check while creating an account on pokerstars? I assume that they contact certain local institutions from a persons country to check whether the ID is not faked or photoshoped?
8) As far as i remmember, they require your ID once your try to withdraw, however, if a botter decided to chipdump he could avoid the ID check on pokerstars?
9) I assume that payment processors take same standard procedures (question 7) of id check while creating an online account on for example neteller or skrill?
I would really appreciate on more info regarding these topics, anything really. Looking forward to replies or PM's.
