I put my first (restricted) HU PLO bot online so you can try it:

http://174.129.2.127/ (requires silverlight)

It's obviously not perfect but it should be able to beat some novice players.

nice work! I played a couple of hands and found no obvious leaks at all. For serious feedback on the strategy you might think of showing every hand after play and providing some kind of hand history.

Good luck with this project!

Very nice bot. I think you need to had check-raise, I played very aggressively and that's a good counter-strategy against it.
I saw some fold against my 3-bet when you're in position, of course I don't know what hand the bot had but position is so valuable in omaha that you could call more I guess. I saw the bot called a 3-bet oop with 33Qx and I don't think there is value here. Small pairs are evil even in HU.
From what I watched it should beat small stakes at least.

The next step would be state translation for indiscreet bet amounts.

There's also a Texas HE bot now.

Wouldn't that kind of be going backwards?

You want 5-card Omaha already?

In general, looks very good.

On the HE bot, why can't you call when IP pre-flop?

I used preflop lines that a typical good human player might use in this one. I have another bot that has many different preflop lines but the game abstraction is not as good, so the current one is probably more interesting to play against.

Curious, did you use a LUT for your Omaha hand evals?

Nice PLO bot, had a lot of fun with it.

Just curious. Has it a simple rule to stack off with every set every time on the flop?

Board was KQ7ss. Bot had 77xx, no redraw or blocker and I had Top Two + FD and iirc it was a single raised pot.

Cool bot! I tried the NLHE bot for a bit and must say that I'm impressed with how it played. Is it based on a CFRM equilibrium solution with some ingenious bucketing or have you used something else?

Thanks. Both bots are CFRM e-equilibriums so there are no special rules.

If the PLO bot has 7754r on a KQ7ss board after preflop raise-call, the strategy is:

In the BB after SB cbets: 0.01 0.05 0.93 0.00 (raise big, raise small, call, fold)
In the SB after BB cr: 0.05 0.26 0.69 0.00

So it looks like it stacks off more often when in the SB.

Very impressive...

I put in about 1.5k hands playing like a hyper aggro spewtard and it was good for about 25 BIs.
In that very small sample size I did note alot of leaks however but the foundations are solid.

I've played alot of HU PLO ranging from 50/1 - 25/50 and I think this bot (once tweaked) could give
a good few of the regs at small-mid stakes a headache.

The leaks I've spotted.....

It overvalues over pairs once the board pairs, it's default line seems to be raise any bet which is a huge leak.
You won't get much value from raising a board reading Q2399 when villain leads the river, default line should be
to call mostly, AAxx will mostly serve as a bluff catcher, the only hands you might get thin value from is AQxx/KKxx combos.
Just not enough to justify raise and get it in as a default line.

Same with regard to 2P ranges, it's default line is go into C/C mode which is fine but it should probably be folding a bit more
on straightened/flushed boards and probably raising a bit more on dryer boards, seems a bit too call happy on alot of dangerous turns/rivers. You should consider reducing it's calling frequency on cards that complete draws. It also seems to chase a bit too much for my liking looking to make 2p, which will get it into
alot of difficulty against villains with a relatively tight c-bet range, especially on wet boards.

Backdoor flushes are also greatly over valued, you need to tighten up it's raising range with completed backdoor flushes
and increase its calling range.

It's donking range is too heavily weighted towards bluffs, this needs to be adjusted also, i'd like to see more balance between strong and weak donking ranges.

I noted alot more but the above should offer some good tweaking potential to start.

I'll give it another go and play my A game when I get a chance.

Great stuff! :)

I think it overvalues the flush draw on the turn. There were a couple times when it raised with a flush draw, then re-raised huge on the turn when it didn't hit yet. One hand it basically went all-in on the turn with a pair of 6's and four to a flush.

I agree with this. If we can see the hand after play, we can evaluate the AI's play better. Or at least an option to pause after each hand, in order to figure out what hand the AI actually had I had to use print screen.

If you play 5k+ hands (you can multi-table) and beat it, I'll send you the whole hand history with open cards in PT/HEM importable format.

Somebody reported the original link for containing trojans.

Thus I removed it.

As I read the thread this didn't looked as some classical spam, so I leave it up to you guys if you want to repost the link further in this thread and use it on your own risk.
