Before you post
Before you post, make sure that the paper is NOT posted already.
Try to use the search on this site with few keywords from the paper you want to post, e.g. some words from the title or the name of the authors.

How to find papers to post?
Just google for poker papers, or read the responses in this thread that give more ideas how to search for papers.

In what format to post?
Take a look at the formatting of some papers that were recently posted, and try to stick to similar one.
Press "quote" on such post and this will quote the paper posting - cancel this, but just use such quote to copy/paste or see specific PhpBB tags relevant for the formating (how to bold something, how to make it larger, etc.). General format to post is the following:

---
Paper Name, Year
Author1, Author2, ...
University/Institution
Conference where the paper was published

Abstract: Copy/paste the full abstract here

Download: <link to the pdf of the paper>
---

The paper is paid - should I attach it?
No. We don't like "copyrighted science" but it is not upto us to decide/judge on this. Similarly, services and organizations like IEEE and ACM rely on subsription fees (some of which give access to otherwise protected papers) to raise funds for research. Therefore, if you attach a paper that is otherwise sold, then this is copyright infridgement, and we won't tolerate this. If paper is sold, but is available on a 3-rd party credible site then you can post a link to that (that is excluding torrent, warez, fileshare, etc. sites. E.g. a paper might be paid, but still available for download on the author's home page. Linking to this would be OK).

Citeseer is no longer being updated (for over a year). For academic sources use http://scholar.google.com and be sure to have a look at the literature list of good survey/overview papers.

Fortunatelly, that's not right - there's CiteSeerX with nearly twice as many scientific papers (atm ~1.164.000)

Ok sorry about misinforming you all. I was told this on university (by professors) and also had this feeling because when working via their database new papers are rarely found and a lot of pages are often missing. Maybe I was using an old version of the website?
