The Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) has suspended the licences for Full Tilt Poker. All games are paused, cashouts not possible.
The AGCC said in a statement this morning:

"The decision to suspend these licenses follows a special investigation prompted by the indictments unsealed by US Attorney General’s Office in the Southern District of New York on 15th April 2011, during which grounds were found to indicate that these licensees and their business associates were operating contrary to Alderney legislation."

Currently it's not clear whether this is a "suspension" or whether their licence will be revoked. We assume, however, that Full Tilt Poker will apply for a new license in a different jurisdiction.

Lost money at Absolute, hopefully I don't lose money in FT too! Cashed out a load on the 26th so fingers crossed that's been processed. It's almost Ironman bonus time too! :-(

I really hope Full Tilt will continue to live. As a poker player the Full Tilt software has been the best one out there, if I see clients like PartyPoker I could vomit. Well from a poker bot's perspective it doesn't matter a lot, botting on Full Tilt hasn't been easy but profitable - I guess botting on any other client wouldn't be a lot harder though.

I haven't looked, but I'm assuming this to mean there is no play on the site at all? And, once it's sold, play will resume?

There's no play on the site.

They lost the Alderney licence (main licence where their server were) which stopped everything everywhere, including on separately licensed countries like France. They also lost their French licence yesterday : http://www.subjectpoker.com/2011/07/ftp ... suspended/

It looks like it's definitely over now, recent news indicate the final loss of their license. Full Tilt hasn't been able to find an investor and it looks like my Full Tilt bot won't be playing any more games. Looks like I'll have to start from scratch on a new platform. I think I'll use this break to restructure my bot.
