That was some sort of old joke.

I would actualy be surprised if Jeff (or the guy that originally started as Jeff) is still working for PokerStars.

Lol! :)

Hello Daniel-san,

"Wax Off".

We have closed your PokerStars account 'ralphmaccio' and confiscated the
funds in it, for repeated bot use. We know you are 'mad4it109'. Using
SnoopFree cannot hide your bot. Using VMWare cannot hide your bot. We
know you are using WinHoldem, and we will continue to confiscate your
funds each time you return to the site.

Take the advice of the others on the WinHoldem forum. PokerStars is dead
to botters, and it isn't worth your effort to try to stealth yourself. We
will find you. You are well advised to move on to greener pastures of
sites that aren't dedicated to eradicating bots.

Ok, putting aside Jeff's role for a moment, if that was really from him (and I don't have any reason to doubt it, I guess), the dude def has my respect for a decent sense of sarcasm... ;)

Is that a quote from someone on the winholdem forums or an email sent to you?

Either way, he takes this very seriously.

It's e-mail sent to a WH user. I think at some point a lot of e-mails were signed with Jeff, regardless that there was team behind it.

Interesting. But people on this forum are still successfully at botting PS right? I saw that you (indiana) had posted above that about 2 years ago you were.

About 3-4 years ago I was botting under the SN "ralphmaccio" (AKA the actor from the karatekid movies - and I thought a pretty obscure reference)

I got banned, and the email I got April 2007 was:
