Hello
I'm writing new poker bot ( EV-Tree+opponent modeling) using Labview (yeap, it's easy to debug and understand whats going on).

I have some questions?

1) I already have a nice heads-up bot with basic opponent modeling. and my program can connect to poker-server v2.3.2 and understand the protocol.
So i'm looking for good bots to exploit. (i got FellOmen bot but its equilbrium one, and i'm looking a human like one to exploit.)

2) I'm using poker-eval, and PSim (i did some changes to match my DLL needs in labview), and i'm looking for function that simulate opponent range of hands with weights.

That's it for now.

Thanks,
mendi :sherlok

Put your bot in a play money game. I have found it to be the best way to evaluate a bots performance against a wide range of player types. I have never understood the need to have a bot play against other bots.

Using LabView is an interesting concept btw.

Well, how does it do against FO2? If it can't beat that by a descent amount, it probably needs more work.

I still dont have an interface to pokerstart (ill do it later).
I want to test my bot profiling ability and its a lot faster when competing against another bot (~50 hands/sec).

I suppose. Bots do not act like humans at all. I think its better to have them adjust to the bot vs the bot adjusting to them. Like be overly aggressive until they fight back. And if they do fight back then why play? I am taking the bum hunter attitude now for HU. 3 and 4 bet the hell out of them preflop. They either know how to handle it or they dont.
