Notes:
Posting blinds, automatic blind posting, waiting for big blind, etc. are not poker decisions and are not specified as part of the protocol.

Don't the bots need to have some information about blinds as well? How do we know if a player recently joined the game and payed the big+small blind in a non-blind possition?

What kind of information is this?

I.e the complete state needs to be transfered with each message. As part of the request message you have the blind levels, you also have the dealer position. Basically in the backend (where the bot is) you can calculate when you postd the blinds.

Now I'm not sure if I got 100% your question. How do you want to incorporate in the bot logic that one just joined (some time ago)?

I.e. if it is about posting the dead blinds as part of the current hand, that will be part of the message (playerX, postedDeadBline X$).

That answered my question. :)

I will separately post for discussion how we should handle incomplete game state.

Many srappers will not have the whole action sequence since the start of the hand, but only what they see currently (players with their bankrolls, potsize, and bets). This is good enough for some bots and easy to implement for some scrapers. I like to make this as part of the protocol too (e.g. some of the data to be simply optional)
