Interesting, since they banned french players too. Do we know why they got denied ?

I don't know why but interestingly one of their skins has obtained a license so I don't know exactly how that works

With the new law, each "website frontend" needs a licence, so in that respect every site is independant when it comes to getting an authorization.

I assume you're talking about Chili for the currently allowed skin. Which according to their website, looks to be using the iPoker client/server infrastructure. Playtech, I guess, tried to get a licence for Titan.

Is it just me or these french sites are full of noobs ? My bot is running strangely well these days...

I just hope french players will move from this Winamax crap to better sites. Full Tilt just got its license but the tables are almost empty atm.

I read something interesting from Finnish poker forums today. Apparently some Finnish player had asked PokerStars support that is it possible to play on the PS.FR or PS.IT sites from Finland being a Finnish citizen (obviously trying to find the Fishes... ;). The answer from PS support was that it's not possible to play on PS.IT but it IS possible to play on PS.FR. Need to just send them photocopies of a personal ID + bank account statement (to prove that your bank acco is inside EU/ETA) and feed in some confirmation code that they will send to your home address in normal mail. After that, we Finns could play on PS.FR. Italians can't do this and apparently nobody (non-Italian) that lives in Italy.

Anyone else know about this?

(Not going to play there, but this was just interesting piece of info IMO)

I can confirm that. Anyone with a bank account in EU can play on the french sites.

Some information about the rake on each room from PTR: http://www.pokertableratings.com/poker- ... it-hold'em

The PS.FR rake is impressive compared to others...
