Hi all!

I am developing a bot based on MCTS and I need large hand history database in order to establish proper opponent models. I do not care whether these hand histories contain actual or obfuscated data as long as they allow making statistical inferences regarding player behavior.

After quick search I found the following hand history sources:
- http://www.pokerftp.com/ (unfortunately I do not meet their requirements so this is not really an option for me)
- Free HandHQ hand histories http://www.outflopped.com/questions/286/obfuscated-datamined-hand-histories
- commercial services selling hand histories at $20+ per million

Free HandHQ hand histories are nice, but I need more data, and my budget does not allow buying it from commercial providers.

Any other options out there?
Thanks!

dvcuss, michaelm,

Thanks for your links. Still, these sources provide tens of thousands of hands for a specific BB level while I may need as much as millions of hands. Seems that there is no way to get such data other than buy it.

Which hand history interested in? (limit, number of player e.t.c.)

MCTS based on predefined opponent models should work better in full-ring games because human opponents will adapt to my bot's strategy more slowly than in 6Max or HU.

So I am currently interested in full-ring (7+ players) $0.5 or $1 NL cash games.

I have been using this for the whole month of February. I was able to download millions of hands for each level. For ex I have ~2M for 25/50 for Absolute.
I dont know if is possibel to download them retroactively.

Does anyone know where to find some free Limit 6-max HHs? They are inexpensive to buy but I am cheap. :)

those free HHs by HandHQ are quite nice.
however I would like to start with a fixed limit bot first. I haven't found any usable obfuscated HHs for that.

so I'm wondering if anyone knows of free, obfuscated full-ring fixed limit HHs?

the whole botting thing is just something I do for fun/because I find it interesting, therefore I'm not really willing to spend a lot of money for getting HHs.

The second link from the first post
http://www.outflopped.com/questions/286 ... -histories
and even the update
http://merseo.com/fun/Hand_History_For_Sale.htm
don't work anymore. Is it still possible to get the free handhq hand histories?
Any other suggestions for free downloads of hand histories? Thanks for your help.
